Our history begins in 1966, when D. Margarita Ramis and D. Daniel Ramón opened a small fruit and vegetable stand in the Santa Catalina Market. Eventually, their daughter M. Ángeles Ramón and her son-in-law, Martí Dalmau, took over the business.
Together, they decided to expand, not only selling in the market but also distributing to restaurants and hotels on the island.
In 1984, Fruites Daniel as we know it today was born, while M. Ángeles ran the stand, Martí focused on distribution, which allowed them to offer new products and support local farmers.
Quality has always been very important to Martí, and now his daughter, Ángels Dalmau, and son-in-law, Fran Ros, continue that tradition.
They seek to maintain what works well, but also to modernize the company with new processes and a professional team.
